A talented but tormented artist grapples with existential questions, consumed by his obsession with proving or disproving the existence of God. His creativity, fuelled by strange and often unsettling ideas, leads him into a spiralling journey of philosophical inquiry.
His lover, a narrator who has long since abandoned faith without much thought, watches as the artist digs deeper into the relentless pursuit of ultimate truth. In the background, children play soccer on the streets of Venice.
